Have any of you tried this?

They are both so easy to do, and you can control what goes into your food to make sure it is as healthy as possible.

I like broccoli sprouts better than full grown broccoli. They're good all by themselves.

I don't think you need any tut to grow your own sprouts but making your own yogurt may be bit difficult and tut could be very useful. :P

Here, ill let my girl tell you how......She is obsessed with her homemade yogurt.

(l33tpirata13's girl)
You have to acquire the live active cultures. (Lactobacillis bulgaricus) They are hard to find. Let them sit in whole or low fat milk for a few hours. They are living organisms so they will die if not given new milk to culture about every 10 hours. You'll be able to check back on them after a few and actually see that in a short time the milk will thicken to a yogurt consistency. You must use a strainer to seperate the yogurt and the live cultures. There are websites that tell you how to make it yourself using some parts store bought yogurt and some parts milk. But the organisms that make yogurt good for your stomach are processed out of that shit. Berry Chill makes it's yogurt this way, using actual live active cultures. It has a slightly bitter taste. Your homemade yogurt will taste just like unsweetened yogurt only slightly more bitter, depending on how long you let the bulgaricus culture it. Also, the longer you keep this process going the longer the bulgaricus cultures will multiply.

ok, there you have it.

Alton Brown did an episode of Good Eats on the topic of yogurt. He is a self-proclaimed sanitation freak (he is) and I have never been steered wrong by watching one of his shows before attempting anything potentially risky regarding food.
