I have an Ipad and I want to set up some way of using the ipad to get my home mac to download torents. Any ideas?

use vnc to remote connect to your mac and remotely manage your entire mac from anywhere your ipad is (and has network or wireless connection).
I know nothing about trash macs, but I know vnc supports mac. (sorry I couldn't help myself)

Then for you ipad you need a program called Mocha VNC Lite, which can be found in the apps store on itunes for free.
Or you can try the utorrent web gui through your safarai browser on your ipad.
I'm not sure how well that will work though.

also dont't know alot about that trash macs but why not use utorrent webuı?

Just saw this thread. There is a way using VNC but you need a Mac and I don't own one myself so.... As someone suggested you can use the Utorrent gui

No he can vnc to a mac, linux, or windows from his ipad.
Vnc will work for what he trying to do. If utorrent gui is avaible in mac, then that should work also though.
Downloading the torrent via the gui may be a pain on an ipad though.
