Lamsey

No, you don't have to.

If you chop it and mix it with mayonnaise, it's rather nice, I'm told. Mixing sweetcorn with Tuna Mayo is very popular too.

Remember to drain thoroughly, otherwise you will not get the remains of the dolphin washed away.

I saw a man carrying a dolphin the other day. You seem to be walking with a porpoise I said.

There might be, unless it explicitly says "Dolphin-friendly tuna" on the packaging.

i had one of them earlier - but they don't give you enough damn tuna, it doesn't go to the edges and you get dry crust

You should cook the dough, and we're not joking about the dolphins.

Almost certainly, the size of the fish and the mammal is such that the same nets ensnare both.

There is dolphin friendly tuna, however it is more expensive and as Lamsey points out, unless it says it on the can then it won't be dolphin friendly.

Don't worry about it though, if you are content to eat pigs, cows etc then a dolphin is no different.

Sorry, where's the problem? Why does a dolphin have more of a right to live than tuna?

Why's it OK to eat tuna but wrong to eat dolphin?

Busyman
10-30-2003, 12:53 AM
I eat tuna with mayo and relish but........I eat albacore tuna out of the can (I plop it in a bowl first). You risk getting Ptomaine poisoning if you eat tuna "straight" out of the can.
Rather than trying to get dolphins loose, fisherman just kill them.

Lamb - you must recognise the face. Particularly if you eat it.

Or do you think they grow up in pre-packed polythene wrapping.

Oh, so dolphins are too cute to die horribly so you can eat them?

Poor old ugly, numerous tuna. They must deserve to die for not being cute mammals.

And is this justification for paying for someone to slaughter them so you can eat their flesh?

I'm not slagging you here, btw, just trying to understand what goes on in the head of the average meateater. It's interesting seeing how people justify it to themselves, if at all.

Quite nice, the way you took it out of context. People should check the "hunting, it's my god-given right" topic for the real context.

I should also make the point that those topics hark back to my pre-mod days, when I could be a little less reserved about what I said.

Salads are only for murderers, coleslaw's a fascist regime. Don't think that they don't have feelings, just cause a radish can't scream. I've heard the screams of the vegetables watching their skins being peeled. Grated and steamed with no mercy, how do you think that feels? Carrot juice constitutes murder, greenhouses prisons for slaves. It's time to stop all this gardening.
