Well, you can't crack and keygen the prog. Plus time warner is joining in with DeadAIM so.... Your gonna have to pay for AIM soon enough.

Aimutation is way better. Way more features and doesn't fuck up like crazy. Back when i had 4.0 all it would do is disconnect a bunch, just fricking annoying as hell. Aimutation supports plug-ins and skins and brings a more enjoyable experience to AIM.

I didn't pay for it, I was lucky because my friend payed for it and he gave me installer and a key. B)

You'll need a serial. Even though you have the installer. Also, you can't crack the program nor generate a key.

Why doesn't idiot symatec use the same idea?

First they combine the serial detection into the core program (if missing then program rebuilds itself and if removed program doesn't work at all)

Then your serial is verified by the AIMutation server. Meaning your key is completely generated by an administrator completely randomly off their head and put it into the server so you recieve the serial instantly. (they have a database)

If it's a fake key then it will say "This program has been pirated, registry keys and program has been reset to default settings."


So you better buy it. Or else

I keep reading something about AIMutation here. Anyone know the website? I want to compare it to DeadAIM.

Also, from reading on the DeadAIM forums, DeadAIM is called DeadAIM because it was originally made to get rid of AIM ads and that's where the name came from. (De-AdAIM, get it? :P ) Just a little interesting fact. :D

I have a question. This started happening to me even when I had dead aim 4.0. its still happening even after i finished updating to 4.1

for some reason, dead aim constantly asks me for the email and serial number. for instance, i would enter it in, it would register and everything would be fine. however, after a few times after exiting and signing back on aim, or after restarting (not really sure when it actually happens)or something like that, it would ask for the info again. i noticed that it stored the email and serial in a registry key, and i also noticed every time this would happen, the info would disappear from the registry key. any ideas? thanks.

Um why don&#39;t you shut up? I downloaded it, read .nfo, it said "hahahaha" for like 50 lines, so I virus scanned and nothing came up.. Then I tried to open both of the .exe&#39;s and it said file was corrupted.
