Hi,

Whats Crackin? For Rizzle, my shizzle!

Can you get some Ice in here? (meaning turn on AC)

How the kids? (meaning, whats up?, or How was your shit?) the response would be (I dropped them off in the pool, and they are swimming!)

Sorry, these are some of the ones I used among friends

Mr. Mulder

I just finished watching an episode of Starsky and Hutch (which is apparently considered hip) anyway, there was mention of a "man" in conjunction with the confirmation of a job. I believe it went something along the lines of;

"Oh, so now du man wants me to get a job, don't he know pimpin is a job yo"

If one were to use this in everyday communication, would one be considered both "Hip" and "with it"?

Lamsey

RF, you got two things wrong and missed one out.

Youse rockits ken hee-haw-McGraw 'bout patter 'n'at.You want to know about slang?
Wrong. Actual meaning: "You people know absolutely nothing about slang".

Am ur, pal, am ur.
Well?

Gie 'em a dose o' the heid if they gie ye lip."If they talk to you, "nut" them..." (otherwise known as a Glaswegian "Kiss")
Nope, it's "Nut them if they are cheeky to you". And it's a Glesga Kiss!!!
