This, I think, is the best VCD creating software ever. All you do is put in the disc and it does the rest. Plus its Free! Its amazing. But I had one question.

When I make a VCD and go to watch it in my DVD player the video quality is amazing, but every now and the the audio makes a little squeaky noise. Is it the Software or something else?

probably something durning conversion, it happens to me sometimes. u could try something other than easy vdc or tmpgenc. there's one made by Honest that is exceptionally good. the only place i've seen it is on andr.net (http://andr.net) in the forum in Full Apps section
