View Full Version : Abnormal Program Termination !?

Everytime i run any of my games, i get a message saying Abnormal program termination and the game shut's down :(
I've tried formating the computer, installing the newest drivers for my Geforce 2 MX, but nothing works,
Can anyone help me????????

All of my game's are illegal copy's :rolleyes:

looks like it is visual c++ related to me. have you got the debugger switched on :)

Just been to Google this seems to be a Win2000 problem mainly,go there and type in Abnormal program termination and you'll see what I mean.

i too get this when i try to play games. i also get a message about the visual c++ not being able to do something (or something like that ) i am a window xp user so i dont think its just win2000

This is weird. I just started getting this same message a few days ago (and it does say something about C++). But for me it's not games, it was a video file that first caused it to appear (in Media Player). Then I had one or two other programs that wouldn't start right. I tried searching in Google but couldn't find a solution, so I figured I must have accidently deleted some necessary file or registry entry. Now just one day later someone else has the exact same problem. I hope it's not a new virus. :(

Well, I did a little research and found that it could be caused by many different things. Apparently there isn't any definitive answer, but if you want to try some possible solutions, read this...
