Since you are going to be breaking a fundamental rule of most trackers and asking to take over someone else's account why split hairs on something as minor as being a good member?

I wonder why the user himself giving the a/c..

A shortcut to trading, huh? :shifty:

Anytime invites can be bought with bonus points (karma) from the shop and they can be used anytime(even when the invites are closed)

Waffles has two types of invites - regular and anytime ones. When you reach Power User status, you get ~2 regular ones every month, but they can't be used unless their staff decides to "open" invites, which happens very rarely. On the other side, anytime invites can be used whenever you want, as the name suggests. The disadvantage is that they're much harder to get - the ability to convert one regular invite to two anytime ones has been long "sold out" from the shop, and you need a very high amount of Waffles points (can't remember the exact amount, maybe it was on the 1500-2000 region) to purchase one.

Anyways.. his choice. :whistling

Exchanging Waffles points for anytime invites? Yes. They have way more trading value. :yup:

Now one anytime invite at Waffles costs 1700 bonus points, and nobody can convert regular to anytime invites because all are sold out :whistling

Thanks for the exact number :)

Yes, I noticed that also. It's a shame since I (as well as a lot other users, I'm sure) have a bunch of invites that can't be used because of being "regular" ones, and no longer can be exchanged for anytime ones with that.

I'm saying this in all seriousness .If a person is in too much of a hurry to write you instead of u how much chance do you think there is that they actually took the time to pay attention to anything else?

Put some effort into your request. Ratio proofs, I'm sure, are the last thing on anyone's mind when inviting you to PTN. It's ratioless. Show people what your caliber/the metal you're made of is in a proper request, and who knows, you might get what you want. :)

So then how is it possible to have 5 invites right now? Old "anytime" ones?

superjojo
06-07-2010, 07:59 AM
You may have invites but you cannot use it. Same story as with HDBits.

graywolf
06-07-2010, 08:14 AM
And I suppose HDBits have no plans to open their invites anytime soon in the future..

Though why give them in the first place? And do they prune a/c ? If yes, their user database must be decreasing day by day..

superjojo
06-07-2010, 08:24 AM
I am not a member of HDBits but my friend is. He said that the number of accounts decrease very very slowly. Now I don't remember what he said but it was around 1000 in 2 years. Don't take them for granted because
I cannot remember the exact numbers.

graywolf
06-07-2010, 08:33 AM
ok.. still they keep very lesser amount of a/c in comparison to other trackers.. And its not that keeping lesser a/c avoids the bad ones.. infact it causes the traders to take interest in its l33tness and get in there..

In fact BCG is quite the opposite. It takes many users once in a while, even What has open interview and they both are the best in their respective fields.

superjojo
06-07-2010, 08:49 AM
Probably you're right. Every tracker has their own policy and
we cannot do much about it.

No, regular ones belonging to someone that's been PU for at least three months.

You could have a thousand invites, but they're pretty much useless if they aren't anytime ones.
