yep, got a prob...after loading spybot s&d's host file, cant add anything to it, removed s&d file, still no luck, has anyone else had this problem? (wheres nikita when you need her ? :P )

oh sh*t, i feel like a jack*** now...
the file got changed to a read only file :lol: :lol: :lol:
(had to be s&d cause i didnt do it)
so if anyone else runs into this prob, check properties on your host file before makin a goofy a$$ post like i did :lol: :lol: :lol:

trial and error, we learn from our mistakes (i hope). u could've pm me. anyways to add to this case get HOSTS TOGGLE from my tips and follow the 4 examples i have there too about HOSTS.

btw, mine is up to 43,000+ and don't have any problem with pc resources, RAM or anything like that. I haven't had a pop-up for over a year now. My basic rule is if a site won't allow me to visit it unless i accept their cookies or active/x, then i simply block everything from that site and move on (it's not the only one with the same/similar content on the net) :)
