Scene Episode Numbers

Sometimes when I'm looking for a show the episode numbers on sites like tv.com don't line up with the episode numbers used in the scene.

Usually it's because the episodes air out of order, scene numbers the episodes based on the air date, and sometimes starts a new season during mid-season (happened during the writer's strike for a few shows).

So are there any sites that display the scene episode numbers along with air dates?
Specifically I'm looking for the episode number of some mythbusters eps from second season.

Yeah. Last show I downloaded that this happened to was FlashForward.
I don't know of any such site.
What I usually do is go by title and see if it fits the content or read comments on torrent or other sites.

Happened to Archer too.

you can search wikipedia for the show and it usually gives you episode names and air dates of that shows' season.

I didn't, I needed to find a specific ep. but the episode numbers on tv.com weren't lining up with the episode numbers that I was downloading.
I solved it by just downloading the whole season.
