SlickRun is a 32-bit floating command line utility for Windows. Occupying less than 1.5% of a 800x600 display, SlickRun gives you almost instant access to any program on your computer. SlickRun allows you to create command aliases, so C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe becomes Mail. Enter a web URL into SlickRun and it will launch your browser and navigate to the specified address. Jot a note, look up a definition... SlickRun does it all!

Back when I had Windoze 98 I would drop shortcuts to everything I used on my desktop and give them simple names. Then I hid the icons. I could Win+R any program, and I had the names on a list taped to my comp... that's what that reminds me of.

Neat program there though. ;)
