hmm normally i would not, but for labtops i would look at dell. Labtops are normally by default quit a bit more pricy then their desktop equivelent... look at spending from $1000 - $2000 Also look at the Emachine labtops that are coming out... i haven't used one yet, but they look good... also what are you plannning to do on the labtop??? do you want to do things like multimedia, just surf the net ??? play games?? i would suggest the emachine labtops, (not that good for heavy apps like games 3d modeling etc... but are about $1000 -$1500 for GOOD ONE... umm well that is all i can say, i like to use desktops so.. not a pro on this statement also check Newegg.com for labtops, or dealtime.com i think it is... try to avoid buying used ones from ebay auctions etc while there are plenty of good poeple selling good labtops, fraud is also a major issue on the auction sites.. i.e. false performance specs... i you have the money though i have only heard good things abpout the centrino chip from somewhere???
