DB9 is great for DnB and a few other subgenres.

I'm only on torrentech.org, pretty good, easy to keep a ratio, easy to get an invite and they have lots of torrents 64,421 at the time of this post.

Active peers: There are currently 135,064 peers consisting of 129742 seeders and 5322 leechers

But i hate trance so i would not know about that genre.

I've been on quite a few edm trackers, and I would have to say my favorite would be the almighty TT. It's never let me down in the 5 years I've been there. I used to get edm from STMusic or VIPMusic though. SCC pretty much has all scene mp3 releases, so if you know what your looking for it can be found there, however I have noticed in the past SCC doesn't get all the live sets that are pre'd.

You had already mentioned SCC so I thought it was pointless to name it again :)

100% tt ! :)
your opinion might change after few weeks ;)

tt was a great tracker and is still good for content, but imo it has lost it's charm.

oh well, it's all about their exclusive packs, i guess :whistling

btw, can someone tell how satclubbing and xtc are doing?

I don't think there's anything wrong with TT. I haven't been a member for long, but it seems fine to me; the uploaders respected my requests and (on one occasion, one particular uploader at least) slave themselves to provide any content people want. The packs have been a life-saver and their IRC is one of the nicest I've come across. Whatever charm you're referring to, it must have been one heck of an insignificant detail because as a rookie I love the place, and know people who have been members there for 5+ years who enjoy it as much as I do.

I'm not a member of satclubbing, but XTC is meh. It's off to an incredibly slow start (the first browse page alone spans this entire week's uploads). Too 1337 for most people to join/hear about, clearly.

thanks for the info about satclubbing and xtc guys, much appreciated.

@ringhunter: it’s totally cool that you (and certainly other members too)
enjoy the site. bear in mind that this was just my opinion and my point of view. being there for almost 3 years, i don’t consider myself as an “oldtimer”, but still i have experienced a step backwards community-wise (the content is still good as stated before). it’s ok to call this an “insignificant detail” as long as you log in just to snatch the latest edm-stuff.
that’s the way i do it now.

on a related note: i know, internet has become serious business and now it seems that there is no room for e-plur, not anymore (then again, not a big deal since the rl-plur-spirit is still alive, at least at most of edm-partys)

this clears hopefully my previous post up.

cheers

Should report that in the bug thread. I doubt it takes too much work to reintegrate it on vB4.

XTC is increasing it's torrent count slowly but steadily...I can see a future for it if they get some dedicated uploaders + an active userbase.
And can someone tell me if TT has other music besides trance?

i think what makes people not using XTC is because need to seed 120hours..maybe..
if they reduce to 72hours probably user will snatch more..
