Windows Xp Home Or Pro

I have both XP Home and Pro...CD's actually bought....can i use either one of them on another computer?? wat program would i need some keygen thing or something in order for me to update and stuff...and actually work...could some one please help me?? thank you

i already have to program...so if i just make a new computer...i just install xp home like noramlly and use a cd key found from that program?? and i would be able to update and stuff without any problems or getting caught?
