Report bugs here.

Knows bugs are:

Small amateurish logo in the top left (If somebody wants to make something for me go ahead)
Smilies get resized when shown beside the editor, they look funny...
Cannot search posts or threads made before the site update (will be fixed next week when we get sphinx back)
Collection entities in 'real title'. See here: http://filesharingtalk.com/nzbs/movies/x264720/178-Perriers-Bounty-LIMITED-720p-BluRay-x264-REFiNED
In old posts (before the update), clicking username under 'last post by' then clicking view profile gives an error (being fixed now)
Thread Status Change redirect infinite loop
"View 'about me' as seen by everyone else" link broken
Apparantly can view people's rep in profile even if they chose to hide it

anon
07-16-2010, 09:34 PM
BT rep is visible for everyone in profiles and trying to view someone's profile in the Report Section by clicking their nickname under "Last Post By" and then View Profile doesn't work. Neither does the "View your "About Me" as seen by everyone else" link in my profile.

Also, are 33 queries OK for a new posts search? I think the old forum used used less than that.

Getting errors when changing the status on the reports. (When you go check the status history you see a lot of repetitions).

It's "normal" for vbulletin's new search system.

Take a look at http://filesharingtalk.com/threads/420772-Reported-post-in-lemme-guess-which-is-worse-.. and check the status change history.

The NZB section is fantastic!
Though I found a small bug when importing data from IMDB. It can't import correctly the " ' " character.
Check it here: http://filesharingtalk.com/nzbs/movies/x264720/178-Perriers-Bounty-LIMITED-720p-BluRay-x264-REFiNED

Can we get back the tracker's favicons on the WTO again? :blushing:

I guess you got stuck in a redirect loop with that thread status change...
I will try and fix that.

Glad you like the NZB section. That was by far what I spent teh most time on...

No tracker favicons yet....

Yes the old posts couldn't be converted into the new system.
They are still there though and for now the NZBs in them still work...

Not a bug, but would it be possible to center avatars, user titles and stars in postbits? I think Tv Controls you asked the same on another thread.

Also, it appears people can no longer close their own threads in the invite area.

Not a bug, just a couple of obseravations regarding image posting. See this thread:

http://filesharingtalk.com/nzbs/movies/xvid/212-The-Ghost-Writer-DVDRip-XviD-NeDiVx

Just noticed there are a lot more options when posting here, as opposed to in the NZB threads. All the bb code stuff seems to be showing here, Centre/Left/Right, Code, Quote and all that stuff. But not when posting in the NZB section?

Didn't think you would need to post images, center them, etc. in the comments.
Can't you just link to the images? There aren't usually that many comments that they would get lost.

Those all mean your having javascript issues. Either javascript is turned off or you need to clear your cache.

On a large majority of posts (especially those with signatures, I believe) there is a large blank space after the end of the post. I'm guessing it has to do with how the signature can't start until all the random crap under your name (stars, title, location, etc.) ends like in this (http://filesharingtalk.com/threads/420774-Report-a-Bug?p=3486290&viewfull=1#post3486290) post.

Although there is a lot of wasted space in posts like this (http://filesharingtalk.com/threads/420774-Report-a-Bug?p=3486485&viewfull=1#post3486485) as well, I think that having a Last edited by also affects it.

You can see by this (http://filesharingtalk.com/threads/374462-Hello-Noobs...?p=3486931&viewfull=1#post3486931) post that the board doesn't just default to have a decent amount of extra space after each post.

Edit: And by looking at this post, at least in the default style, it can be difficult to see links I embedded into text.

Why do I need to click the age button to sort by age? Shouldnt the default sorting be newest to oldest. Everytime I goto a section the list is in a random order until I click the age button. Is this a glitch? How can I permanently set it so I dont have to click the age button everytime I view a page?

Rart
07-18-2010, 11:06 PM
I believe the NZB index defaults to sort by when the post was added to our forum, not the actual age of the file. That way when people post older NZBs aren't completely ignored and hidden.

I don't know how to default it to sort by file age though, sorry.

im talking about viewing the nfo in the original post, with the articles and nzb. i my self think the nfo information is way more important than the IMDB info. Like the old style with the nfo in the code box, something like that. maybe in something collapsible like the spoiler tag.

It is in sort of already like a spoiler tag, you would have to click show spoiler, same concept.... click view nfo, and opens the NFO.... Would be the exact same as clicking show spoiler.

We lost the index due to the upgrade and I've been adding the older NZB's back in, it sort by when it gets added to our site. If I posted sometthing say 2 days old and went by that method no one would ever see it! You shoudln't have to the filter should stay active.

You don't have to do that. The NZBs are listed in order of most recently posted, same as every section.

Tried clearing it and setting Opera to "never" redownload images if they're cached, and it's the same. It doesn't happen on another vB4 forum with the same settings, so I thought it may be an issue on FST's side.

On a sidenote, are there any ways to make the forum warn us if our PM box is full (or near full)? Mine has been at 100% for a few days without me noticing, and no one could send me anything.

Fixed.

First things first, when I tried to quote this post, only Dasfox's quote appeared. Is how the board handles quotes to prevent quote spam bugged?

And this is relatively minor, but although you changed it so that embedded links are easier to read, those changes don't appear when you preview your post.

Am I the only one that can't access any thread in the vBCMS Comments area?

Where are you seeing it?
It's supposed to be hidden.
Must be another vbulletin bug...

One way I can see it is through the "threads started by" search for Cabalo. Not sure if that's how anon's finding it.

Why don't we just keep it like before? A hell of a lot easier to type.

Type? We have a button right next to the "Insert picture" one.

[ video=youtube;dLy5xIjA6Z8 ] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLy5xIjA6Z8 [ /video ]

I thought we actually had to type that all out  Didn't notice the button.

(as opposed to dLy5xIjA6Z8)

Edit: I thought the [code] tag will block bb code? I can still embed videos within a [code] tag.

test[code] doesn't block any bbcode.
You can surround it in tags if you don't want it to parse the bbcode.

Not a bug but I didn't think this warranted a separate thread. What happened to the site ads?

Yet another vb bug.
Thanks, going to report it.

Glad I could help. The ads on FST aren't as invasive as the layers, pop-ups, etc. on other sites, and since the revenue goes to paying at least a part of the server bills, I never blocked them. :)

I'd never allow those. I find them ridiculous and they just encourage people to block the ads altogether and use programs like adblock.

The "Page Generation Time" and "Number of Queries" icons at the bottom of all pages seem to be broken when using the Pixel Wood skin.

Also, usernames in postbits aren't centered, and the bold, italics and underline buttons in the editor are almost invisible.

probably not a bug but how come hosted pics show up as links when quoted ?

how come hosted pics show up as links when quoted ?

I think that's intentional, to prevent thread pages from becoming very long when several people have quoted a post with a big image.

Edit: And by looking at this post, at least in the default style, it can be difficult to see links I embedded into text.

The Linux post I made:

http://filesharingtalk.com/threads/281046-Linux-For-New-Users

Some of the links get underlined and some do not, of course links are suppose to all have underlines so I hope we can get this fixed soon...

THANKS

Fixed.

Issue is back again.

And if I quote your post, it still doesn't display both of the nested quoted inside (ie it decided to not automatically quote my post, I manually added it)

Is it just me, or there's a large chunk of unused space on the first post of each page? Have a look:
