Yeah I know, the idea sucks, and unless im forced I will never do it.

I have recently heard that Caca Cala are planning some sort of Pay to Play programme, along with some other big brands.

This is worrying becuase it means that it will be in there best interests to destroy Kazaa lite, and we all know that they have infinite money an resources to carry out such a task.

I am relying on those of us in the know who will stop at nothing to deliver free music to always stay one step ahead of the game. I am certain that already some clever smart arses are inventing a way to bypass anything the RIAA have to throw at us.

I have changed the name of the brand as it is Top secret, so letting it out on the net could land me in serious, but im guessing you may be able to see who it is.

Lol, is this some kinda joke? Coca-Cola's a secret organization?

Beside, pay programs already exist (iTunes, etc), and a pay p2p program would never work. Let's see, if I want to download Photoshop all I have to do is pay a few hundred bucks to download it from some random dude who's probably infected it with shit? Sign me up!

That's a very good point there about pay P2P.

iTunes is apparently doing very well for itself.

Probably because of the people scared by industry threats - or the people that just don't know about KLite and all the others.

never worry too much :) Record what you are listening on your paying
service to in 128 or 192 Quality with MagicSofts Capture 1.0 and
share the mp3 file - that is what I do as well :)

If I can not find a hard to find song (A thousand Acres - Richard Hartles (Soundtrack)) I buy it and share it!!!
