yup, today was the day. :(
well, i couldnt get hold of any cream to numb my back, so I did it all on sheer will power.
still have at least another two sittings to go, but this is what i've had done so far......

they tried giving me a cream for afterwards, i didnt take it.
i wanted one to numb it beforehand.
there is one called "amletol" (?) which numbs small area&#39;s, but i would have needed tubes of it for something this size.
the other one, "elma" is perscription only, but its great.
my other two were nowt compared to this beggar. :(

the tattooist i was in today had the cream all along,
it was too late to apply it though, it has to be on an hour before hand.
i took a rubber (pencil rubber) with me to squezze, although me b/f&#39;s thumbs took a crushing too.

there was a huge crowd watching me get it, that was scary. :unsure:
but he played "blackout - dropkick murphys", then a load of ska classics.
settled me a lil more.

always wanted the magic round-a-bout around my ankle, but i may go for the theme now, and get a fairy on the ankle bone, and a pixie on the moon on the top of my shoulder blade.

oh no, the cream only numbs the area.
you have to use it an hour beforehand, and i believe your meant to wrap it in cling film. :blink:
he wrapped me up in film afterwards, but the drive home was horrible, and the tape just came loose.

Im designing a snake at the mo, im not sure whether to get it on my arm in big or smaller runing down from my belly button, I know the stoumach will hurt way more but it would be worth it

Its not going to be one of those coloured in "80&#39;s hair metal snakes" but a black and white outlined one, a cobra pulling back to strike with its mouth open and fangs out, im really putting a load of effort into it to stop it from looking cliched or stupid, when the design is done i will post it up here

Im also starting a band with a few friends, so when we have the logo finished and a name for our band i might have it tattoed, even if we broke up the day after it would still mean something to me, and would always have a story behind it

I really like the look of a lot of the tribal stuff but I dont want to mix it with coloured in ones, so ill have to shop around :)

It hurt more this time as it was shading,
which is a lot of covering the same ground.
Only got an hour in, this time, but in the new year I want a couple of 2 hour sessions.
