Because unlike TL, Demonoid has millions of users, and most of them can generate an indeterminate amount of invite codes. Therefore, those who want to get in can simply apply on any of the many giveaways here or elsewhere instead of trading.

Demonoid invites are worth less than a penny. TL invites can be gold to some, and meh for others Mostly gold though ;)
