Everytime I go to Windows Update through the start menu, it searches for updates, then says windows update has caused an error and cannot display the requested page.

This has been happening for like the past few days, and its worked before, is anyone else getting this?

Did u do the super trick? Blocking A agami (sp?) servers in the HOSTS file can cause this. There is a special one you need to remove. Do a search and find a post by NIKITA69, it detail he/she (sorry i don't know!) goes in detail about which one to remove to make windows update work. B)

in addition to above, firewall may have changed ur browser's http_header and other data that windowsupdate.com REQUIRES. and if ur behind a hi-anon ssl proxy, that would be another cause.
btw, mts - she.HERE (http://www.klboard.ath.cx/index.php?showtopic=64831&st=0&#entry499791)

I did a full system scan, and McAfee didnt find any viruses.

I have my HOSTS cleared, and its still doing it, I cleared it like a week ago and never redid it again, so its not the HOSTS.

How would I find out if my firewall changed my http_header?

All tests in one, HERE (http://proxys4u.proboards24.com/index.cgi?board=QuesAnon&action=display&num=1067765903)
first put in ur browser one of the high anon proxy found in that site (trust no one, test it urself), then try the environmental and surf data tests.
