The "Lock" feature is awsome, and some of the other things, but I don't like the "My Shared Folder" showing up in the "Web" window.
Just seems a bit screwy how it works, and sometimes is a real pain in the @ss, lol.

I have tried but it doesn&#39;t work and there is no way to unlock my kazaa lite, now (so I had to replace the new klextension with the old file).

sorry i forgot to remove that change i was just testing some stuff. I will post an update soon.

I would set an hot key if only I had a working not-locked kazaa lite with the new klextensions. :lol:

When you click "My Shared Folder" it opens in the Web tab instead of opening a new window like it used to. Rocko said he&#39;d post an update with a fix for that soon, only two posts ago.

Thanks, nice work. I enjoy the new "multiple selection" &#33;&#33;&#33; It has also a fast "find more sources" in it , great &#33; :)

suggestions -
1. may be to implement the faster "find more sources" in the regular accelarator (may be - permit 0 delay time ?)
2. add a few more details for files (to help us) such as : status, total # of users/sources , sizes
3. break files that are being downloaded frm several users - to several lines (only to be used in the "find more sources" action)

edit:
4. do not auto-close the "multiple selection" dialog - unless the user presses "close". This way - you can select a group of files and, say, pause & resume them.

Looks promising but it doesnt work for me. i have installed corectly how i did the previous versions but this one doesnt want to work for some reason.

Im on XP Pro, maybe this has something to do with it. here is a pic.

If you are runnig an older version of KL (e.e. 2.03) - try renaming the KLE dll to cl_clint.dll.
You can see the version in the "help->about" screen.

Thanks for the help... Ive sorted it now. i re-installed k-lite and sorted the problem... im all up to date now..

could there be such an option:

if there are multiple sources that you could &#39;right click&#39; on the name/user and then &#39;don&#39;t use this source&#39; (so cancel/delete this source for this file)

that would be come handy if there&#39;s someone with a realy slow connection or if you have the suspicioun that the source is bad (fake/virus whatever..) in this way you can remove this source, &#39;cause now it&#39;s not possible to choose precisely which user you want to download from.. :)

what do you think?

Why would you NOT want to download from someone? More sources is better&#33; Even downloading at 1k helps. An infected version of a file would have a different hash, since the data was modified. If one person has an infected file, everyone else you download it from will have an infected file.

I&#39;m on dial-up and have a maximum of 2 downloads at a time. The default 4 sources per file is usually enough to get good speeds, but when there is a user uploading at <1kb/sec it can really kill the overall speed (let alone more than one user uploading at <1kb/sec). Individual source killing would be a nice feature so I could kill a user uploading at a slow speed to possibly allow someone faster to step up.

Default sources per download is 8, not 4. 4 is a really low number. I would say 6-10 are good enough for dial-up.

KLConfigWizard.exe sets max sources to 4 if you select dial-up as your connection speed. That&#39;s what I meant by "default", not Kazaa&#39;s default.

YOU CAN DO THIS BY CLOSING K-LITE AND OPENING K-DAT AND USING DELETE FUNCTION, THEN DISABLING ACCELERATOR. That is how I do it and sorry for the caps lock.
