well after too many failed attempts at reinstalling zone alarm and trying to get kerio to not freeze my browser, i installed sygate and what do you know? my systems hummin again and f/w'd :D just wanted to say thanks to whoever recommended it (think it was muscleman) btw, wheres that dude been, havent noticed him in here lately :unsure:

and if theres anything i need to watch out for with sygate, would appreciate any feedback (i.e., couldnt reinstall ZA, kerio freezed browser first visit to k++, etc.)

Apart from being a very user friendly Firewall, You can also put the bad ip's in there for it block :D

Just search for sygate pro on kazaa. One should pop up, it will probably be an old version but you can just download free updates. The one i d/l came with keygen, used the keygen and updated to latest version, worked like a charm.

I would have to highly disagree. Astalavista is an excellent crack/serial search engine, it has not failed me yet on any piece of software.

they do have a huge a&#036;&#036; data base, that i liked, but all the pop-ups and hijackings really sucked (i was looking for somethin for an ad blocker :lol: :lol: :lol: )

LOL you are right about the ads. Unfortunately it does have them but if you have good ad blocking/pop up software or a good hosts file then the site is great.

only problem is if you set it up to block needed progs, but sygates pretty user friendly, you can mess around with it and set it to your preferences (when you first install you&#39;ll get a few alerts more or less from system processes wanting to do this and that, just check what they are and what they do, and go from there)

had to get this back on subject :D
