Nice, I checked that as soon as I saw this thread, but the page was loading very slowly and with a destroyed layout. I read "invite code" somewhere and thought they were no longer open. :)

The invite code is marked as being optional.I didn't bother to try and sign-up so I can't tell you if that is fact or not.

I made an account just to check that, and killed it via delacct.php (which actually disables it :angry:) afterwards. It's indeed optional.
