Need Help Finding A Thread

I've used the search and everything but I cant seem to find the thread I'm looking for. the thread was about whether or not the quality of songs is diminished by converting them to mp3 and then back to wave. and also, how if you copy a wav file, the quality will stay the exact same. can anyone help me find it?

If you copy a wav file, the quality will stay the same, bit for bit.
