I really really like A Perfect Circle - Thirteen Step. Its a very dark and deep album touches on a bunch of personal issues. I think that I have been singing the 3 song The Noose now for about two weeks straight, I just can't seem to get that song out of my head. Its kind of like you said its doesn't really depress me it just really mellows me out. Its a really great album cover to cover. Check it out.

GREAT album.

I always pimp this album but it's really good, Peter Gabriel - UP has it's really depressing moments but it always cheers me up for some reason.

Also good: Portishead- Dummy, Anything by Morrissey.

I can't remember anything else rightn ow.

I'd have to say Radiohead was the better in depressive music. Here are a few songs to try and see:

Exit Music (for a film)
Street Spirit
Talk Show Host

i could of named many, but these are the most depressing perhaps (exit music being the most probably)

"Helicopter" - Covenant - United States of Mind

It's really not that depressing for its lyrics, more for tone in his voice against a depressing beat.

Anything by Covenant is has a very depressing feel to it, but always seems to mellow me out when I'm angry or depressed.
