How Many Bytes Are You Sharing?

I know theres a pinned topic asking how many files do you share but I could share a million e-books and it would take up no room at all compared to a million MP3s.

At the moment there are 3,225,557 users online sharing 593,833,562 files and 4,761,856 GB. That means each person on average is sharing 1.48GB and that the average file size is 8.2MB (someone check my maths plz :P )

I've just checked my shared folder and I'm sharing 12.3 GB.

Just curious to see how much everyone else shares.

ive stoped sharing untill im happy with the download speed i get from kazaa..

i was shring 16gb of music, and bout 20gb of anime.

but like i said im not going to share till im happy with what im downloading at.

i know what you mean. i currently got 4 uploads with a totla speed of 24kb/s and 2 downloads running at under 2kb/s!

I know my share size isn't huge but nearly everyting that I've d/led since I last wiped my computer is in my shared folder. I only got 20GB on my harddrive left so some of it is gonna av to go soon.

Hey guys - Let's quit this 'I'm not gonna share cos....' stuff!!
You need to look for better bandwidth sources: Jump supernodes and use auto search more. There are better sources there for faster downloads you just need to search.

nice annecdote though : the other day i was using dc++ and dl from 1 guy -i got 60 kB dl from him :o yes im not kidding .it took about 3/4 of an hour to get that double cd from him :D

I share about 6GB.

I think everyone can still try to share. Do you think all the files come from magic or something?

Even if it slows me down a bit, it still makes me happy because I know I am helping many people around the world. :)
