On-topic: So really, no one finds anything absolutely wrong with that video except for the "dimwit". I found the "reasonable" guy even moreso retarded, reasoning that because you somehow giveaway invites and indulge in forming fake friendships that it somehow seems more venerable to hand you an invite to a bloody torrenting site. And then on the other side of things, staffers and members alike get pissy at how the member-base has turned out. Shocker.

OK for you're own good here's a clarification on why this request will very likely not get filled no matter how many times you continue to mindlessly bump it.
No one can give any real ,sensible, meaningful reason why they wish to be a member of FTN - not or content or speed or "community" or anything else that you can't find at a lot of other sites. Therefore barring any "need" beyond at best simple curiosity or at worst level hunting most anyone that has an invite to give is going to award it to someone they know or at least have some favourable feelings ( for whatever reason) toward .

If someone is neglecting something/all things in the pursuit of their needs, pays their debt to civilization and don't crush anyone else in the process, that's pretty reasonable. Expecting anything more from a human would be deceitful and vague. I've seen humans doing things that I got embarrassed on myself being one. ISIS shits and the westerners that they get their security and instruction from are a prime example of it. And also those who had the means but didn't take a stand against it just because they were too consumed by their own self interests.

As far as I'm concerned, judging someone of being selfish based on their interactions on a chit-chat Internet portal, which doesn't warrants anything at all, is a brave accusation to make.
