Torrent Error

I am Getting this error while i was downloading.
when i tried for Force recheck the same error appears again, even after add same torrent from different tracker the error exists.

is there a way to fix this error or anyone aware of the cause ?

CRC error.
I'd suggest you run checkdisk and check your HDD's SMART status. It's probably an hardware fault.

I did use checkdisk at the startup but still no go and i also ran memory test ,if its hardware fault should i have to change cables and ports insise cpu ?

Is der a way to recover the file and complete the download coz last time i checked only 395 mb was left for completion or do i have to download entire file again ?

You could show the tab on the left with the SMART info.
Anyway, maybe it's because you don't have enough available disk space to complete the operations?

If I were you, I'd run a full surface check and not the "standard" CHKDSK. That will help you determine whether there are any bad/damaged sectors in your drive, and also mark them as such.

Good point, specially if it's a small disk.

Don't want to sound alarmist, but if you look by one of my threads, I lost all 1Tb on my HDDs because one of them had a very low Hardware Error Correction Code (ECC) status.

Go to Start -> Run..., type this in the box:

CHKDSK /F /R E:

And press Enter. You may be asked to dismount and/or reboot your PC for the surface check to take place, do so. Otherwise, just let it run. It may take some time.

@ Cabalo OMG you lost 1 TB of Data thats bad did u try any recovery software to get it back ? or is it even possible to retrieve it using cd Hiren boot Cd or any other software ?

@Anon i jus did what you said , i hope the data will safe will the operations are goin i will let you know the result once it is done.

Guess i will buy a Hard disk back up some of the important data jus in case as few of them means a lot to me

I've tried every single piece of software to recover that data.
The problem relied on the HDDs being on raid0, which invalidates the usual tools like hiren's, spinrite, winternals ERD, Linux LiveCDs, etc.
One of the HDDs had a very low Hardware ECC, which I neglected for too long (one week tops), and it corrupted the raid, meaning I could not retrieve whatever was on the other HDD, causing me to lose both one's data.
If they were JBOD it would have been way less catastrophic, but on raid you will soon discover the hard way that every recovery software won't correctly recognize the array, thus putting you on a hard spot.
They had to go. One is still on RMA, the other one is still working, though I don't like what I read on its SMART reports.
Looking at yours, I would say ditch the one with low HECC.

Use software like Active Hard Disk Monitor to warn you when the time has come to replace them. Most people will say there's no need for that, but HDDs subjected to high random read/write cycles like the ones used on bittorrent will last shorter than many imagine. And if you don't monitor them, you will only discover the problems when it's too late.

seems like a lot of things to take care of even for hard disks i guess these errors are due to frequent power failures or too much experimenting in installing mac os x on ma pc guess try some other alternatives for those here onwards and now i spend some of my savings which i been saving for new year but still data are important i will stick with advices keep monitoring them

After paying heed to anon's advice i managed to fix those files hell of Gb of was left for completion i am glad the files are usable unlike last time guess i shouldn't have deleted dragon naturally speaking and football manager before posting the issue here

I lost 966 gigs, on a 1 TB by accidentally dropping it, send it back to Manufactirer, they cannot recover, and replace a new HD, for me

Lost almost 1 tB of "Pure Mature Porn" irreplaceable......sigh!
