Panda Antivirus

hi, ive just got my hands on a copy of PANDA ANTIVIRUS PLATINUM 7 and was wondering how it compares to others like NAV and AVG etc? has anybody used it? what did they think etc?

I got a free version from a magazine CD, it wos a pretty gud program... but i cudn't find the crack 4 it, so i turned 2 AVG, but if u cud get a cracked version of it i wud certainly use it again...

if you're not already running an AV i'd say its a damn good prog :P
(any is better than none) i've used their free on-line scan and its ok,
and its probably not as resource hoggish as NAV, but i still have NAV 2003
and would almost swear by it (one thing about panda is they update daily,
i believe, while symantec (norton) does it weekly, unless theres a really
nasty threat out)

(oh yeah, and i gotta give norton a better customer support rating,
i've been able to get more info from symantecs knowledge base,
i.e., removal instructions and specifics on infections, etc.)

it sucks, uses way to many resources, avg has same if not better protection and uses way less resources :)

since i started using it this evening,ive found it to be amazing!!! it does not slow to PC down when your scanning like NAV does and it has much better updates than NAV or AVG-being that 4 hours of it being installed, its updated itself 4 times already-thats safe!!!
you also get a firewall incl so no need for a separate firewall like zone alarm is needed, which i like again

also this morning i was a user of AVG 7.0 and scanned as usual this morning, nothing showing up, on the install scan of this PANDA virus checker it found 2 viruses on my PC which it desposed of very well!!

ALL IN ALL IM VERY PLEASED WITH THIS AND WOULD RECCOMEND IT TO ANYONE

ps-i have the cracked version so if anybody wants a hash,just say so!!
