Where'd It Go?

Hi all,

I have a 80GB hard disk and i know for sure 20GB was free before the follwing occured.

I was downloading using BT and edonkey and i left over-night and for about 7 hours of the day. I came back and found i only had 87M left!

What happened?

Has it happened to you?

I have used windows error checker and i know have just over 5GB of space!

Still not back though

right click on your emule temp folder and check "compress contents to save disc space"

it might take a while, but should free up a LOT of space...

downloading thought BT prepares space already for the file to be downloaded so say you download a 700 meg file film it will take up 700 meg at the start before the download starts. how many files was you downloading through BT and edonkey?

I have a similar problem with that my hdd has 2Gb unaccounted for.

PS I dont use BT I only use kazaa-lite, anyone wanna give some ideas onto why this has happened (even a format doesnt help as soon after the same thing occurs)

Does K-lite do this too, if so then say yes and ignore my last post :)
