Hello

I'm looking for old releases, including some of them i cannot find anywhere.
I've found a site that seems to list the nfo of some of them : www.nf0.pl

but it seems this site do not provide anyway to find the releases themselves...
Could anyone confirm ? Does anyone know this site ?

Does someone know how i could find some of these old files i am looking for ?

Cheers

I didn't check the site, but are you talking about scene releases? If so, it can sometimes be completely impossible to find certain ones, especially if they're a little rare or old. Believe me, there are a number of scene releases I'd like to get myself, but generally if you don't get it at the time it's first available, it may be almost impossible to get afterwards. If it's made available on usenet, filehosting, and/or torrents, then sometimes it can list a little while longer. In fact sometimes there are rare scene releases that don't get made available anywhere, so even if you try to get it right when it comes out, you still won't be able to because there's nowhere that it's available. That's rare but it does happen occasionally.

Yep, was just about to point that out. Private trackers with good retention, Warez-BB, and even public trackers (sometimes) can let you find old releases.

If it's allowed then you could give us some names and we can look around too.
usually, if it's nowhere in the torrent world to be found, your option would be to do what the guys above said (check usenet and filehosting).

Another idea would be to request it on a few trackers, depending on your status there.
Some of the trackers are trying really hard to fill those requests. You could get lucky.

You could also try a wide search with programs like
http://convivea.com/product.php?id=2
that are free and search on many trackers (free and private) at the same time.

Good luck on your hunt

Will check on your torrent file program

I don't know what you exactly mean with this, but if you're going to use public trackers, better check VerTor.com out.

Also, if you make a thread in the BT section telling us what you want to download, people will check which places it's on. :)

You can also try one particular warez site, which is very helpful to me: bolt.org
They have archive of old content. And I believe they have open their signup for everyone..

Check out these FTP search engines: searchftps.com, proisk.ru, globalfilesearch.com and mmnt.ru. They index mostly Russian home FTPs, which have overall petabytes of stuff open to anybody.

If we know more specifically the content you're after we could help you better. It's hard to know what to suggest.

But eMule is worth mentioning. And even Kazaa, maybe. And then there are specialist communities (often non-torrent ones) out there for every content type imaginable - which would be more likely to have saved these older releases than 'general' places.

And even Kazaa, maybe.

Is the FastTrack network any good? Last time I checked it had few users and was full of crap.

i dunno i haven't touched it with a 60 foot pole since discovering limewire (and then emule and then bittorrent) years ago....

no idea if it's even running properly now but if i were desperate for something ultra-rare I would download k-lite and give the ol' baby a go again...kazaa was my first p2p experience <3
