Yes, not sure, if this is even possible, yet. But, I store and play my media files(movies & TV shows) on an external HDD through the PS3. But, is there a method/program/whatever, to play be able to have media icons/DVD Cover/a .jpg/something to visual represent the movie that is stored on the HDD through the PS3

Thanks in Advance.

What type of files are they? I don't believe ISO thumbnails are supported.

If they're .avi and such, try naming them after the movie title: So if the movie is Starwars.avi then the image should be named Starwars.avi.cover.jpg (or .png or whatever image file type it is).

So, this is a definitive answer? the format is 'movietitle.extension(avi).cover.jpg'

This should work 100%, no doubt?

As long as the cover is named 'cover' it should work. It works for my roommate, so I don't see why it wouldn't work for you.

A simple Google search reveals the same info - http://www.avforums.com/forums/ps3-media-streaming/959607-dvd-cover-art.html

Yea...it's ok...even though I asked for information about an external HDD, not internal or streaming...

Thanks anyway....
