Is there still a good version of Ares for Windows 7 ?

Hi Guys

Been away for a while.

I used to use Ares, and now have Windows 7

I have been looking for a good version of Ares.

There seem to be quite a few which have been taken over by Free and paid versions

Is there still a good basic version of Ares around ?

And if so where can I get it ?

There's only one version of "Ares" - the official one, which you can find here:

Paid, "gold", "plus" versions are a scam!

If you have issues with 2.x.x and Windows 7, try 1.9.9, which you can find here (http://sourceforge.net/projects/aresgalaxy/files/aresgalaxy/AresRegular199_12142006/aresregular199_installer.exe/download).

Glad to hear that. 1.9.9 doesn't have the connectivity fix (introduced in one of the recent versions), so if it ever takes a lot to connect, which used to happen back in the day, just tell me and I'll pass you a supernode list.
