thats pretty standard, its a feature of one of the codebases (i think tbdev, but i'm not sure). loads of trackers have this, from a quick glance bitmetv, bitme and ftn all have it, i'm sure there are plenty of others as well.

Their invite system is experimental, and only available to admins in the beta version of the site. In short, you won't find invites.
