Well yea. But it's not even about pimp cars and hot gals anymore.
It has become another action movie with little bit more driving. I really hope this is the last one and with all boys/girls together they could really make something worth watching out of it. Will see.

I think it has to do with a liking of that particular type of driving since both the story and the acting were if possible even worse than the other ones.
As for this or any other Fast and Furious , until they come up with something new beyond different cars or ways of crashing them then I think you are deluding yourself if you think this with be any better/different from the rest.

Btw I just read an article with a movie critic lamenting the fact that Harry Potter is Fangora's "most anticipated film of 2011".
Until people stop supporting endless lame sequels and meaningless remakes then the unimaginative tripe like F&F5 is what you are going to be continued to be spoon feed.

i just watched it and was not impressed. i guess i wasn't too disappointed because i didn't expect much in the first place. If you gonna have a bad script, bad actors, bad acting at least for the love of god show me some tits.

Wearing overalls has clearly given you a perspective not available to us normal-pants-wearing folk, because from where I sit- becomingly clad in Levis- F&F5 barely rises to the level of "moronic".

Please to give three things about this movie that you thought were "really good".
(No fair citing the bonus scene during the credits where Nick Fury informs Dom that knowing how to operate a manual transmission does not qualify as a "superpower" and anyway Tony Stark has cooler cars...)

Well I did finally watch Fast 5 myself, and although we are supposed to suspend disbelief while watching a movie or reading a book, the point at which the DSS Federal agent says yeah sure I'll help you to his target really stretched credibility past breaking point. Why the fuck would he say that ? Wouldn't he just go and call up alot more homicidal Federal agents to come down and kick some ass? Maybe they could just do a Noriega on him and invade the whole fucking country, why not, the Americans seem to need no excuse these days, then we could have classic American muscle cars avoiding 30mm self depleting uranium rounds from the GAW-8A avenger cannon on A-10 Thunderbolts or Hellfire missiles on Apache attack choppers. That'd be a hoot!

I finally watched this, I didn't know they still made quality film. The tearjerking brodrama, the "that's definitely what I would have done too" action sequences, the carefully developed personalities whose fidelity to their role shines so bright that it blinds those fucking empire penguin sluts, all layered onto one of the most riveting and holeproof plotlines to ever hit the cinemas. Really great stuff.

Performances were patch at best...but the actions scenes (especially the last one) were pretty awesome. Anyways as is the case with such flicks, the major impact scenes don't really require use much acting skills. So, well worth the two hours spent imo.
