I don't agree. I mean they were good, but the roles were not so complicated.
It sound like all of you are talking about the caracters you liked the best, but not about the acting performance.

Some good performances listed here, especially Johnny Depp in PIrates Of The Carribean. I never much rated him as an actor before I saw that film and just thought he played the character so well it was brilliant :-)
I'm crap at remembering who played what role in film's, but there's a film called "City Of Angels" with the guy from "Gone In 60 Seconds" in it, and his performance in "City Of Angels" was brilliant I thought :-) ... Just remembered his name, "Nicholas Cage" :-)
Also, Cartman, Kenny, Kyle and Stan were brilliant in South Park - Bigger, Longer and Uncut lol :-P
I'm damned if I can remember anymore right now lol
Sniper.

I think that one of the best acting jobs that I have ever seen was Mel Gibson in Conspiracy Theory. I mean this guy was a complete lunatic in this film. Mel Gibson has taken on many roles in his career and has done an excellent job in all of them.
