Hi, I'm Thinking of moving to Google Chrome away from Mozilla Firefox and was wonderng what extensions you use for Google Chrome to help make the web browsing expericene better. Thanks.

I moved to Chrome, and I'm quite happy with it so far.
The extensions I use:

. Xmarks
. Adblock plus
. Speed Dial
. Chrome Flag
. ChromeAccess
. Sabconnect++
. smooth scroll
. Docs PDF/PowerPoint Viewer
. IE tab
. stop Autoplay for YouTube

i found that with Firefox the more extensions the more CPU and load up time it took up, so hopefully it'll be better with Chrome. Also looking forwar for HTML5 to gather up popularity as the CPU should be lower when watching media online.

I'm not sure if video streamers will be ditching flash for html5. Chrome usually(not always) needs less CPU to run than firefox and chrome isn't always faster than ffox. About extensions, there isn't noscript or any real alternative. There are bunch of blockers but they are shitty and not even half as effective as noscript, they do not filter the elements, they just hide them

Things which you can use in Mozilla firefox you can never try on chrome. Even Google toolbar doesn't work on chrome.

Chrome <3
All the good addons have already been mentioned. Autorefresh plus is pretty useful.

Among IE, firefox and chrome, I think chrome is the fatest browser.(I don't know about opera)

I thought of adding some extensions when I switched from Firefox to Chrome, but I found that Chrome pretty much has everything I need. The only extension I use is Google Books extension and I'm satisfied. I also may get some student extensions in future.

Sexy Undo Close Tab is the best IMHO.

Google Chrome is awesome. I love how I install extensions and they just keep working, updates are no longer held off for extension updates.

I'm using,

Adblock.
Chrome to Android (sends urls from my browser to my phone).
SwitchyPlus (Auto url rule proxy switcher, a lot like foxyproxy).
goo.gl url shortening add on.
and an extension I don't remember the name of, it adds a bookmark button to the toolbar.

Team Liquid Streams is a pretty sweet addon if you enjoy StarCraft 2 streams. :-)

I personally don't see the reason to add an extension for this considering you can just open a new tab and have access to your bookmarks.

But yeah, this is one of the feature I'm surprised that Google has implemented yet. I know they're going for the whole minimal look, but a little icon to access your bookmarks sitting next to the wrench wouldn't be so horrible.
