magnet link in torrents

I've noticed this on demonoid and on pirate bay, what is the difference btw this and the download link? I am trying to download a specific album off TPB, and the download link doesn't work. When I download with the magnet link, I don't get any details in the torrent, can't choose tracks, and it shows up as 0 bytes in utorrent.

Magnet links are a mere hash, and get the rest of the metadata via DHT (meaning you should have it enabled).

If you search "Mt Eden" on TPB, the first hit is Uploaded 11-21 2010, Size 157.94 MiB. I don't know if it's just me where it won't work, could anyone confirm whether it works for them? It's an unofficial bootleg so my hopes aren't high that I can get it elsewhere, except maybe track by track on soulseek.

Maybe it's just me but TPB is awfully slow.

It works for me. If you want I can re-upload the whole thing to Mediafire or just give you the .torrent file via PM.

i get "No input file specified." when I choose the torrent, and it doesnt seem to add properly when I choose the magnet link. Torrent file via pm sounds great thanks :D

It's not an album, but I guess someone could possibly use TPB and soulseek in conjunction. Regardless I have it now.
