Contrast - 3 notches below Maximum
Color - 3 notches below Maximum
Brightness- 28 notches below Maximum

It's amazing that the settings on your TV make an impact on the look of a game... My games look stunningly perfect with those settings, almost have a film quality to them.

If I'm correct, all TV's have the Brightness, Color and Contrast options. Plus a maximum amount that they can be taken up to.

on different TVs the different notches change different amounts - if i set my TV like your's everything would be very white and i could just make out the alien eating my head

the only thing i change is make it lighter on very dark lvls in games... it helps alot on ghost recon when the nightvision doesnt work ;)
