For all I know, you were probably invited back so that you would register and they would get your IP address (assuming they didn't have it already). Then they disabled you and pass you IP to others sites because they were deeply annoyed with your gross impoliteness and persistence.

Precisely. Asperger's, OCD, etc. aren't defined by being held back by their disability/situation. In fact, I have met many an Aspie that have proven highly intelligent. And I mean highly. For the record, glined isn't slang for anything. There are multiple levels of barring someone from IRCd access, the equivalent of a disabled account on a forum or tracker, but on IRC. The different ones are a g-line, a z-line and a k-line, with a k-line banning you from the entire server for a specific duration, a g-line banning you similarly and a z-line banning your entire IP address range (your neighbors are probably affected by this, as well). It isn't leet speak or slang for anything, it's just terminology on ban classes.

He's dealing with Oleg, who is the most annoying person I've seen in awhile, a guy who has made his banning and unbanning history at their tracker & sister tracker a totally embarrassing public spectacle several times. Because you know tracker staff just love it when you post a bunch of their chat logs in a forum, make up several stupid threads to either suck up to them or attack them, and reveal everything that should have been a private matter between him and the staff there to thousands of people on a message board many of whom aren't even a member of the tracker.

Not to mention, we are just taking Oleg's word for it. Even though I feel they would have been justified in saying those things to him, how do we know they actually did. Since none of their staff have come on here and defended themselves, we just get Oleg's biased side of the story. How do we know those chat logs are 100% genuine and not a little doctored to make their staff seem more cruel. An action like that would seem to fit Oleg's need for attention and sympathy. Plus haven't people here said worse things about him or to him.

He's an idiot imo for getting banned there so many times. My account at hdbits has been in good standing since 2007, with not a single warning ever. It's not that hard to stay off the ban wagon there.

The different ones are a g-line, a z-line and a k-line, with a k-line banning you from the entire server for a specific duration, a g-line banning you similarly and a z-line banning your entire IP address range (your neighbors are probably affected by this, as well). It isn't leet speak or slang for anything, it's just terminology on ban classes.

Well, a long story short, Oleg was complaining about how unfair it was that he was banned on SDBits, most bitterly and one guy (Quazgaa) felt sorry for him, and Oleg promised he'd be good and not cause trouble. So Quaz sent him an invitation. What does Oleg do? The moment he gets the invitation, he goes into their support channel announces who he is that the original ban against him was completely unfair, and gets Quazgaa banned as well.

All Quaz was doing was helping a guy out.


I've seen people who have done less than you get global bans and frankly this thread alone should be reason for one. Your just lucky the right person hasn't talked to the right people otherwise that might have been done already. It could still happen.

Well, before the guy invited me again, he told me that it would be a good idea if I registered on the site using a proxy server to avoid to be seen as a new user on the front page of hdbits. (You know, next to the "Welcome to the new user" message). But I was really fearful of breaking the rules of the site; that's why I didn't want to use a proxy. So, instead, I registered on the site using a dial-up IP. So, for a few days, my account remained fully inactive; I didn't start downloading anything. But after those few days passed, I decided to start downloading something and of course, I couldn't do it on dial-up. So, I started downloading something using my DSL IP, but they disabled me almost immediately after that. But, as you know, then I sent a message to an admin asking him to re-enable me, and he re-enabled me. That second dupe account remained banned, of course.

So you got an innocent member banned

Okay, KFlint told me that I need to forget about hdbits and move on; otherwise, I might end up getting banned from FST, but I gotta answer this. That person wasn't such an innocent member. He was a former staffer, but according to what he told me, he had ratio cheated on a bittorrent site. (But he also said that he had never cheated on hdbits). I have no clue if he was just trolling me or told me the truth. He invited me to hdbits in 2010, but my account Oleg was disabled 40 minutes after I was invited, so he invited me again to hdbits. They disabled that new account after they saw my IP, and demoted him from a VIP status to a power user status. Then, as you know, my account Oleg was re-enabled. But after I was banned from hdbits on February 1st of 2011, he told me, "Firon is a dick. Register another email account and I will invite you again, but you will need to pick a username that is not Oleg." Then I told him, "But you are not a VIP anymore, so how can you invite me?" He responded, "I will find someone who'll invite you." I said, "No, thanks." Then I said that I really miss the #hdbits channel, so he immediately gave me his irc invitation code, so I joined the channel. He got banned from hdbits after that (dunno if he's still banned). So, he's not as innocent as you think.

I don't like the fact that he looks down on people. But he's able to think rationally. The other administrator Valerio also used to look down on people, and I don't know if he still does it now. They did make me angry in the past; all the other members of their staff also did make me angry. But Firon has improved a little bit, and it seems to me that Valerio has improved a lot. As I keep saying, I am not angry at anyone anymore; everyone did seem nicer this time around. I mean, after I became a member of hdbits for the second time, I had a feeling that VIPs, power users, non-power users, and the members of the staff (with the exception of Firon) treated me in a nicer way. However, they probably still didn't understand what kind of person I was and still am; otherwise, I would not be banned now. :)

I think basically all that is required is that we obey the rules , occasionally use the site and generally don't piss people off to an excessive degree.

Of course HDbits could be different in that respect as I've heard tales of some real humanists and some real deep thinkers there.

I also gotta answer this. As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, that guy was a former hdbits staff member. He was demoted to a power user status because he had invited me to hdbits twice. There was actually another former staff member who was recently banned, but whose account was later re-enabled. As far as I remember, he's still a VIP now. Knowing all that, how can we really say that hdbits knows what it's doing when it has its invitation system closed because of invite sellers? I mean, they are corrupt themselves, yet they act like a bunch of hypocrites when they say that they have the invitation system closed because of invite sellers! Your friend tequilavip said that anyone who even installs a ratio cheating software on his computer is a scum. I remember that you, MusicalMind, opened a thread in which you said that ratio cheating is never accidental and it's an action of a rat. You also said in that thread that people should be banned from bitme.org even if they never cheated on bitme.org, but cheated on other sites. So, you had a pretty radical stance on this issue. However, that former staff member never cheated on hdbits, but cheated on another site, at least according to what he says. But now you are saying that it's really sad that that fellow got banned now? At least once, your friend tequilavip said something negative about the hdbits staff. But now you suddenly decided to ban me from bitme/bitmetv because Firon told you to do it? How interesting. There is another thing I gotta say. After the fellow who invited me was demoted to a power user status, he was actually made a VIP again, but just for ONE DAY. Somebody decided to demote him again. There were at least two other people who were made VIPs for JUST ONE DAY (or maybe just for a few hours), but then they were demoted back to a power user status. So, this just means that this whole VIP thing is just a joke.
As I keep saying, I am not angry at anybody. I am grateful that I was given a second chance. Valerio now became my favorite staff member because he gave me a second chance. Firon is a confusing fellow. There are some things that I like about him, and there are some things that I dislike about him...
People, forgive me that I keep repeating the same things and that I keep on beating the dead horse, but I will miss Valerio... simply because he became a nice guy now... I will even miss Firon, Snowknight26, killer101, VictorCS, and others. And yet the subtle difference is the motivation for the posting. I never asked for anything of FST. Well, actually, nothing more than a fun conversation here and there and the opportunity to troll all I want to. On the other hand, it's clear what Vorx's primary concern is, and while I'm an advocate for getting your serotonin/dopamine fix in whatever way you choose to, I do think that being 15 and stupid should put some restriction on his thought process or set some standards for his goals within the foreseeable future (as I said, when I was 15, there were very few things that concerned me, and none as inane as glory) - but then again, perhaps being stupid negates that hope.

I think that people if they knew would probably actually find that they have more 15 year olds in their invite trees than they might have realized .
At least that is my hope for it at least explains away some of the lack of depth I see in a lot of forum posts.
The other explanation that many members are just that vacant is a lot less comforting.
As for "dissing" HDbits you seem to be another of these people that think anything negatively said against a person or their actions is also an attack against a site ,everyone on it , everything it has accomplished and everything it stands for.:mellow:
I'm sure that there are legions of terrific folk on HDbits.I'm sure the staff ,even the ones put in a bad light here , attempt to do what is best and I sure the site brings a lot of joy to most of it's members. That however doesn't mean that there might not be anything ever amiss or that those things shouldn't ever be mentioned .

Seriously I know that negativity isn't always the most endearing of qualities but given the choice between a little honest questioning of the way things are or the steady diet of inane and probably insincere pleasantries that I have to constantly endure on sites like FSC and FTN , a little thought provoking negativity is a welcome relief.

And yes, according to my diagnosis, I am on the mild end of the autistic spectrum, which is Asperger's. I am just telling you what diagnosis they gave me... Honestly, it depends on how you were acting that prompted his comment. If you were acting inappropriately- AND had a history of doing so- AND were doing so again, then NO, his social skills could be entirely reasonable. He was telling you off. He did not want you around anymore. Would you have preferred him say, "Gosh, Oleg, you are a wonderful person, but I am banning you."? That would not have made any sense.

His banning of you was a reaction to the sum total of your interactions on the site. YOU WORE OUT YOUR WELCOME.

Your situation is much like one I faced in my own home recently:

I had a classmate and his girlfriend over several times for dinner. Initially, they were polite, respectful guests. When they first came, they brought something to add to the meal- bread, cake, wine, etc. That was nice, and all was well. Eventually, they got more comfortable and stopped contributing to the meals. I let that slide, justifying it as them having financial difficulties.

As they grew more comfortable, they started displaying irritating behaviors- my classmate started leaning back in our wooden dinner table chairs, I asked him to stop and he didn't- this lead to a broken chair that we can no longer get a matching replacement for.

His girlfriend started complaining furiously about one of our professors. He was one of our favorites, and we did not believe, nor wanted to hear her ridiculous accusations. She repeated these EVERY time she came- regardless of our lack of interest in the stories AND asking her to stop.

The classmate eventually started coming over expecting to be fed, lingered after we expressed our wishes to call an end to the evenings, and (probably most annoying of all) felt a need to take a crap EVERY time he came over, minutes before leaving (weird).

The bottom line- we stopped having them over. Since we were in the same program with them at school, we tried to do so "softly". We eventually grew to resent their company, and did our best to distance ourselves from them. It took a long time, but eventually they got the hint and quit inviting themselves over. I do have a suspicious feeling that they bad-mouthed us to some of he professors.


Do you see ANY similarities between our bad guests, and your behaviors on this site, and HDBits? Not only did you become a nuisance, but you felt the need to start this thread and speak poorly of your hosts. All around, you were, and are, a bad guest. You can only be granted so much leeway due to your "disability". Regardless, you wore out your welcome, and are getting quite close here (and that is saying something with the amount of leeway FST gives).

Just keep in mind that staff has been hinting at that possibility when they have placed your account in "disabled". They are trying to get through to you- perhaps not too unlike HDBits.

You're not the first social cripple who read on the internet that people with Asperger's have trouble talking to others, and immediately diagnosed himself with it. Great as an excuse for their inability to talk to girls. In 2008, I joined hdbits, and when I joined their irc channel, people in the channel began to treat me like shit for no reason. So, I started to feel really angry, but I kept all of that anger inside. Even though I never achieved the status of a power user, I started ignoring social rules and started requesting an invite to waffles.fm in the General Chat section of the hdbits forums. Eventually, I received a permanent warning because of that. Then I was banned from sdbits. In the hdbits forums, I began to complain about my ban from sdbits, so I was banned from hdbits as well. After it happened, I let the hidden anger that all this time I kept inside out in the open. You can call it "autistic" anger. On the p2p-net irc server, I began sending private messages to many different people. Those people were either hdbits VIPs, power users, non-power users, or the members of the hdbits staff. I started telling them that I didn't know how to get a woman for sex, started telling them how lonely I was, and told them some other stuff. Some of those people actually replied to me and I had conversations with them. But I also sent some angry messages to the hdbits admin Firon, who was also the irc op of the p2p-net network. So, of course, he banned me from the network, but since I had a dynamic IP, I kept returning to that network. One time, as far as I remember, I sent him an almost violent message... So, I did the same thing for like a year, which was returning to that network and sending messages to different people. Firon is also an admin at forum.utorrent.com, so one time I registered on that forum and sent him a message, asking him for an invite to hdbits.org, but he banned me from the forum with the message "No." I registered another account on that forum and sent him a message in which I told him that I didn't know how to get a woman for sex. So, he banned me with the message "Bye, retard". I stopped sending private messages to different people only 2 months before I was re-invited to hdbits. When I was re-invited to hdbits, I was afraid to start posting on the forums and was afraid to join their irc channel. But an hdbits moderator started telling me that I wouldn't be banned if I started posting on the forums, so I started posting on the forums. To my surprise, people were nice to me when I started posting, and I even sent a message to ringhunter telling him that I was surprised that people were nice. He responded, "Yes, they may appear mean at first, but they are actually sensible people." But then, I guess, I made my first mistake. Even though I was told that I wasn't allowed to join the irc channel, I did it anyway. It was a fatal mistake because now, as you know, I am banned from hdbits.

Did you not get my story, mjmacky? Listen to me. I just want to be unbanned from Cuba. It is everyone's basic human right. It is not fair that I would be banned from Cuba just because I am an American. I did nothing wrong. Fidel just does not understand that people just don't want to be banned from Cuba.
