Does BTN beat BMTV and in what ways? Hopefully this is in right section, and/or allowd :P

TVT.com:unsure:

Sorry. Reasoning.
Because it isn't about trying to be this or that or trying to be cool or punishing people because they aren't a certain way but because it's simply about sharing files.

I doubt with a username like Sc3ne you will agree seeing as the site isn't the fastest but to that I say :idunno:

Not much point discussing 2 second rate TV trackers. TVT.com is the best TV tracker, and it has been for a very long time.

:yup:
And one of the easiest sites to seed from what i know
But still, i must admit sometimes BMTV can be good to find some rare shows, which can't be found on other trackers.

So is TvT. :yup:

There was a thread similar to this where the differences between both sites were discussed, some time ago. May want to search for it.

For what it's worth (drama aside) I think BTN has done very well for themselves in the time they've been around... it's an aesthetically pleasing site, they added a ton of features to stock gazelle, and it's successfully taken a huge memberbase away from the established TV trackers. And ratioless is always nice.

Something about TvT has always just kinda bugged me. But I agree it's extremely easy to seed on pretty much any torrent (even old ones) so that's a big plus.

Oddly BTN kinda bugs me exactly because of some of those "added features" which seem to be there for little other purpose than to show what the staff can come up with next .

After all "Simplicity is often the sign of truth and a criterion of beauty" or as Plato said "Beauty of style and harmony and grace and good rhythm depends on simplicity".

Btw the fact that it was able to so easily take away part of other trackers userbase speaks more to th failings of those sites than to any great triumph on BTN's part.

In what way did those other sites fail?

Idk, another part of it is that I think Gazelle works awesomely for TV sites. But I'm admittedly a big gazelle fanboy. While there are plenty of features on BTN that might be useless to me, they might be useful for some other people, and that's all that really matters.

But as we all know, anything that isn't p2p-encoded HD is completely useless and fails as a tv show, so it's all a moot point

BTN has about 25,200 torrents. Anyone got the numbers for TVT? I've actually been looking for another TV source since BTN really excels on new material as opposed to older/uk/australian shows.

They don't list how many are active.

Here's a few numbers in a filenetworks article a few days ago:

Probably that for a lot of people who have/had been long standing members there the site (BMTV) has become untenable due to the administrations steadfast reluctance to acknowledge the fact that the internet isn't the same relatively level playing field as it was when bt or that site came into being .

Ok, i'm just catching up on BT drama...so this BTN, it's better because no ratio? Is content any better then Bit*tv or tvtorrents?

In my opinion nothing comes even close to the features that BTN offers. I like the fact that each episode and season is grouped into different qualities (BD-RIP 720p, BD-RIP 1080p, regular Scene HD and SD release and DVD-Rips.) You just type in the name of the show and download whichever version you prefer, also they have WEB-DL releases for almost every current TV Show. And the best part is that the trackers is ratioless, not that I abuse it, but it's an awesome feeling when you can download some old season and don't worry about anything.

BMTV hands down.

That's the problem when you ask a question like that at a place like this, you are going to have some people support either side for really no logical reason .
