I register on NZBMatrix
I download a NZB file and open with NewsLeecher
when I start connect it's saying there is no enabled server setup the server.
Then I go to Usenet - Manager - Servers - Add New Server

it's asking for the address. What address do I need to put.

You're going to need the address, username and password of the news service you got invited to. They should have that on their Web site/members' area.

I don't get my full ISP download speed, is there any speed settings option on NewsLeecher.

charon

I think the speed depends on you maxim connections number, so you should check in the general setting if it's the same with the one allowed by your provider. I don't use NewsLeecher so i can't tell you if it's something else too, that it has to be done.

Connections! More connections!

Providers do have a maximum connection limit, however.

Try doing something for yourself, and check your client's help file. Don't make asking here the second you have any doubt the first thing you do.

There are no seeders in Usenet, and by the way more seeders doesn't necessarily guarantee better speeds on BT.

Thank you very much charon :)
I understand form you given link to how increase the connection, Now I am getting the full speed of my ISP.

Just like to know
in torrent world there is pre release and those torrents are uploaded from the FTP site
but what about the Newsgroups, are those files also uploaded from secure FTP site, and what about the release time, is it really fast like those pre scene torrent site.

I'm a noob too when it comes to Usenet, but from what i saw until now, 90% of the scene releases are uploaded pretty much at the same time on both Usenet and BT. Internal releases may take from 3 to 10 hours to be uploaded after BT. I must say that my observations were made only on movie releases, i'm not interested so much in games, software, etc... and of course i don't care about pre time also.
