Hevay Metal and Rock bands prove themselves the most accomplished and proficient often by virtue of the sometimes fantastic ballads they pen. Who can forget Gary Moore's "Empty rooms", Journey's "Who's crying now?" or even Zep's "Going to California", or GnR's "November rain"?
So which are your favourite rock/metal ballads?

Judas Priest - "Prisoner of Your Eyes", Nazareth - "Love Hurts", Bon Jovi - "Never Say Goodbye", Foreigner - "I Wanna Know What Love Is", Def Leppard - "Bringin' On the Heartbreak", Motley Crue - "Glitter", Cinderella - "Nobody's Fool", Judas Priest - "Beyond the Realms of Death", and others. Of course, a lot of the bands I mentioned were hair metal bands.

Lool, somebody has way too much time in his/her hands.

ontopic: Cutting Crew - "(I Just) Died in Your Arms" is worth mentioning.

Ps. I hope that song/sentence wasn't already used, aka copied.

Blind Guardian - Bard`s Song

Decided to add one from my country, its on native language, if someone is interested to listen it

Laufer - Budi moja voda (Be my water)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8ohp6bfYOc

Found really good translation, here it is

I've left all alone
to lay in the sun
I called you to come from dreams
and give me your hand

I prayed for my seas and rivers
to be filled
to feel in them one more time
new love running, and to sing

Be my water, I'm fire now
I will burn
spill yourself over me, be everything I want
I will live

I knew you will come
come and bring the rain
I was waiting,
like dry land is waiting for its water

And I'm singing, be my water
I'm fire now, I will burn
and I say, spill yourself over me
be everything I want, I will live

I also used to hang out with Seb Bach's brother so win me.

Of course not as much of a win if I hung out with his sister Dylan (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0081570/).:(

Aerosmith's Dream On is usually widely regarded as the first rock power ballad, so I'd have to give a nod to that one.
