Another act that plays the neo-folk card because at the root of it they just can't really seem to carry a tune.

I don't think they're going for that. I think they're going for the lyric-based card and they steal their tunes from everybody else.

Having said that, I'm quite happy with their lyrics, even if they do wax somewhat twee.
