Well, I downloaded Rotk all night, and it finally finished, and then i installed the game, all went well, and then when i tried to play it this came up:

'Could not find any compatible Direct3D Devices with the required capabilities. Make sure you have current Drivers for your video card.

The Lord of the Rings™; Return of the King™ will noiw exit.'

If anyone can help me fix this problem i'll be sooo grateful!!!!!!!

more info about computer is needed like ur video card u need to update it...or if u dunt have the latest DIRECT X get tht!

I have DirectX 9
I have some intel Graphics card, can u tell me where i can find more info...????

FIND OUT WHAT UR CARD IS (exactly)....and then go to google.com and search type in tht card's name and model (if u hav it) and type drivers after tht u shud get loads of results...

FOR EXAMPLE: SiS315 Drivers

if u have installed any EA games like MOHAA u can know ur system info by using EA "easy info" feuter :D

right lik on ur desktop then go to properties> then >SETTINGS>>ADVANCED>>ADAPTER and it shud say the info on ur graphic card and how much MB it is... :D ;)

Free Memory: 80MB

Video Card: Intel® 82845G/GL Graphics

Sound Card: Avance AC97 Audio

Thats all my Information, So now can sum1 help me??

i think ur VGA is not supported
i didnt hear about INTER VGA

and 254 mb ram is little, u should get 512 ram and most importent u must have DDR ram

I am meant to have 256....but it says 254, is there a way to get it up?

i think it says 254 because ur video card is shared.....

if u wana chek ur memory of ur computer right clik on my computer and go to properties.

i have 256 sdram pc 133 and my compture runs great and i use it very heavily. i play all the latest games....(max payne 2, midnigt club 2) with no problems at all.

and i only have a p4 1.9ghz :D

Yeh, i can play Max payne 2, Midnight club 2, Worms 3d all ok, But rotk dont wrk???

Well, I installed it, but it still wont work???
But on that EA Info thing, i went to the game requirements, and everytin was ticked ecept for

Memory: Minimum 256. Mine 254.

And that was circled in red, so that must be the problem, But when i went properties in my computer, it sed i have 256 of ram.
So the question is how do i get that extra 2mb of ram back???

you have it, go into your start menu, then ea games, then LOTR The Return of the King tm.

It's in there.
