types of sharing?

hiii:) first post here.
i started using torrents to get files and never switched or tried other p2p networks.

now my question, can someone give me a complete list of file sharing, like IRC and edonkey, bittorrent and newsgroups etc.

Firstly, BitTorrent isn't a network, it's a protocol. I don't mean to sound like an ass, just thought I'd make that clear.
