Being a cancelled and old series, it most likely won't be on Usenet anywhere. The best you could do is to request it and hope someone have it.

Neither of the dvd rental firms have the three discs released (only available through Amazon from what I can see), it's going to be pretty slim.

For a limited series (never on any mainstream channel in the U.S. that I can find) over 10 years old, pickings are going to be very slim. VERY.

Although I have a usenet account (or two) about half the things I'm looking for won't be there, so I still use P2P a lot.

Edonkey network is the place to find anything released back in 2001 that can't be found anywhere else. (to my amazement, a lot of the stuff I released to ed2k in 2001 is still being shared many years later. :) )

You don't need to install eMule software just to search the ed2k network; just go to FileDonkey.com

Old shows on the ed2k network tend to download extremely slow, but if you want high-quality TV rips, then eMule may be your only option, as Bittorrent seems to have very few episodes of Vampire High available, and apparently none on DDL sites.

But if you want it fast and low-quality is good enough, it looks like most of the series is available on video sites like Youtube and Vimeo, etc.

Also, as far as requesting it, only a true fan of the show will take the time to hunt down the DVDs and make them available. Once I saw the caption "Dawson's Creek meets..." I would venture the show is pretty terrible, so good luck finding a fan fulfilling the request. Amazon might have produced the DVDs themselves, they've done that for other series where they've never made a commercial release.

http://www.amazon.com/Vampire-High-Carl-Goldstein/dp/B0007939Z2/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1306626468&sr=1-1

In this case, it would be easier to spend the money to acquire then it would be to try to pirate, so that's the only thing I could advocate here.

Are you talking about the few random episodes that are available or the 'complete series' torrrent that has apparently not had a single seed in years?
