Can anyone find these albums for me?

All are mid 1970's jazz fusion ( or something) by Gino Vannelli (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gino_Vannelli)
I found them on rutracker in FLAC but I want them in mp3 and try as I might to convert them I'm getting corrupt cue messages.
Btw I'm an idiot about such things so maybe it's me.

A Pauper in Paradise (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Pauper_in_Paradise)

The Gist of the Gemini (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Gist_of_the_Gemini)

A Storm at Sunup

(http://www.cduniverse.com/search/xx/music/pid/1094562/a/Storm+At+Sunup.htm)There are a few later Vannelli albums on What and Waffles but in my opinion his music went badly downhill around '85 with the release of Black Cars and going more mainstream pop.

If you're not able to figure out converting them(there should be tons of tutorials on What/Waffles on how to do this, or you can type in Convert flac to mp3 with foobar into Google) then all three albums are on Soulseek in mp3 format.

I'm not a FLAC downloader, but I've had to convert a few albums and All2Lame has done the job quickly and easily. Have you tried that already?

yes, it's a national disaster to rip albums without cutting them by tracks. and to store in .ape

I only encoded flac once, and all I remember is using MediaCoder to do it. I loaded the .cue file into it, setup my audio preferences and voila. 1 program to get it done.

You can install rockbox on your iPod in order to play FLAC files. Works only on elder gen's of 'Pods though.
Check website for more information if interested.

I think some releases from rutracker come as a single ape file with a cue to seperate or something like that. Medievel Cue Tools does a pretty good job separating and then foobar for conversion.

Happens on Linkomanija as well. I wonder what's so hard about splitting the tracks and not uploading a single huge audio file.

They're all available on the Usenet, as a pack, in MP3 format. It's a huge pack, so I'll assume they're inside.

Use dBpoweramp for audio file conversions. Very easy to use (e.g. via right click), excellent quality encoding using recommended LAME settings. A recent version should be found on a tracker near you.
