Yeah, this kills me. Sun sued MS to make them stop distributing their version of Java, but Sun's version DOESN'T WORK! How stupid is that? <_<

So yeah, follow sharedholder's link and download the last known version of MS Virtual Machine. Works like a charm. :)

About as stupid as a blanket statement saying something that is operating perfectly well on my machines (and others' that I know) doesn't work.

It may very well work for you, but that's no reason to call me stupid. If you read all the posts in this topic, you'll see three people out of seven right here who agree that Sun's Java doesn't work properly, while Microsoft's does (or should I say "did"). That's all I'm saying. I'm sorry if this observation somehow offended you.

I'll tell you what, Mr Wolf, why don't you just read the first seven words of my post once more.
I didn't call you stupid at all, I merely pointed out that your statement was stupid. Of course I had to add weight by adding that I know of many machines on which it is working properly.
Thanks also, for changing your evaluation of Sun Java by admitting that it doesn't fail to work properly on all machines.

I wasn't offended anyway, I just like to see people hoisted by their own pitard.
