Seems I have run out of Action movies to watch. So looking for some recommendations.

1. If the movie had more then 2 parts chances are I have already watched it. Spiderman,Batman,Hulkman, blah blah long running series i have already watched

2. Preferably not before 90's

3. Action means Actions. Crime thriller are not Action. Similarly pistol shooting is not action. Cars flying Planes crashing machine gun shooting Is action.
------------------

I usually download 720p or BRips (If in hurry). But some times it leaves about inch and half black border on top and bottom. Is it possible to identify which relz has this problem?
I use overscan for such movies. Any better way? (should be fast)

What about machine pistols?
Also does it have to have a plot and does "starring Nicholas Cage" qualify as a minus?

Ironically here as elsewhere no one that knows about such things ever posts in the movie section. Not that I'm drawing any conclusions or anything.
Maybe if you asked in bittorrent? At the very least I'm sure that hotshot will be happy to inform you that you are an idiot for watching anything that isn't in 1080 something or other.

Hmm, there's a technical fix for this?
I just reframe my monitor with duct tape to hide the black.

Edit:
A Sharpie works as well- and has arguably better aesthetics- but does take longer.
There is something artistically ironic in disguising a black border with a black border.

You mean to tell my old laser discs weren't defective?I honestly wish I hadn't thrown them all out now.

Btw I found a bunch of terrific action movies but sadly the newest one is 1989. What's the saying" life is transitory but film is forever only cool if it's less than a couple decades old.

Silly IGN there goes there entire list. http://movies.ign.com/articles/673/673392p1.html Shows what a bunch of videogamers know.

Although I'm pretty sure that the Viet Cong he shot at 7'12' was only paralyzed for life.

Kick Ass was an awesome movie, also they have announced a sequel which is under production and coming out next year, I'm looking forward to that.

@OP: IMDB is such a great service, why don't you try that.............

Tango and Cash? Really?
If you are going down the Kurt Russell road( as obviously you are) then Escape From New York (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082340/) .
Snake Plissken one of the greatest characters and undeniably the greatest name in action movie history.Avoid Escape From L.A. at all costs thought.

Big Trouble in Little China is pretty sweet .

Seeing as Terri Hatcher is in Tango and Cash watch this (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115438/) instead .You can thank me later.
As usual the IMDB rating is full of shit.

Donnie Yen is my personal favorite from China, I'm surprised why he hasn't got enough recognition in the Hollywood as other eastern kids like Jet li or Jackie Chan.

Although IP Man was unarguably is biggest hit, which I would rate 9.5/10, I liked Flash Point (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0992911/) more, it's my one the best action movies of all time.

I think though as Asian action cinema goes you can't overlook Yun-Fat Chow especially in the John Woo films -Hard Boiled ,The Killer and A Better Tomorrow.

Another John Carpenter classic like Big Trouble, Escape From New York once again stars Kurt Russell, this time in one of his most recognizable roles, as Snake Plissken. There was even a somewhat tawdry sequel Escape From L.A. .
If you like John Carpenters movies (and I do) then Escape From New York is a must see !

Idol, many of your posts are visible only to those with fewer than 20 posts or more than 10k.
I always assumed this was some sort of Canadian filter in the forum software.

You were calling me out on T&C, therefore everything else was invisible, what with my unfamiliarity.

I'll need to write a letter to my member of Parliament about that .

Last time I watched Chow Yun-Fat was in "The Replacement Killers" more then 10 years ago. Never got back to him since then.

Oops, brushed over the first paragraph (the invisible bit but then you did mention Terri Hatcher straight after) glad to see we are on the same page though. You can't go wrong with a plane crash, a kidnapped president and WWE wrestlers (when they were big hairy scary looking fuckers) as baddies W000t !!!!
