as soon as i press enter after doing a search in google or other Search engine a pop Up window appears of another unknown page that has a lot of responses for the search i did, but i dont want this pop up, i just want the google page, not other search engine option...

IS this Spyware or something, is there a way to stop that....?

I just Did a search in google for "COMPUTERS", and this was the pop up page that appeared

POP UP (http://results.searchscout.com/content/429/16145-10/content16145-6.html?b=16362&m=Mjk1NDc0NTg1&t=1000099385&d=1000099385&k=computers&c=16145)

the word GAIN in the title bar of the link provided suggests it's adware (and the little message at the bottom does too - check out the pinned topic and adware removal

run ad aware
http://download.com.com/3000-2094-10045910.html?legacy=cnet

make sure to post how many things it finds, think the most is around 370 but you might have more

This looks like a 3rd party plug in and can be disabled in tools>options>advanced tab>browsing , uncheck enable 3rd party plugins I believe is how it's worded. that should stop it.
I would still run spybot or adwar (or both) to eliminate it
good luck!

it removes them of coarse, it would be pointless to detect hundreds of ad bugs and NOT get rid of them

Just pay attention as well what registry values you are deleting. Few things like Spybot is detected by Adware but you may not want to delete it. So just check each one you are deleting.

you should still be ok, i've never had a prob with it takin out unwanted reg keys, but to be safe, make sure you have the 'quarantine before removal' option selected (if you already did, then use your pc regularly, if you encounter a prob, then check out your quarantines)
